The kid who leads all of Division I in 3-pt shooting is now available - he could enroll somewhere and get his degree by the end of summer and be able to play anywhere next season!!

Also, though the ESPN article calls him "the nation's leading 3-point shooter at 52.6%, they apparently they didn't check their own stats. Jordan Burgeson is not actually listed as the top 3-point shooter in Division 1.
Kris Davis of SIU-Edwardsville is shooting an amazing 60.2% for the year and is well ahead of Burgason's 52.6%.
In fact, ESPN themselves have Burgeson at #3, behind Kris Davis, and Matt Roth of Indiana.

Is that the NCAA's standard for qualifying for this category? If so, that seems awfully strict. Using the minimum of 2.5 3-pt FG made per game, not a single player from the MVC would qualify!
The closest 3-pt shooter in the MVC is Ben Simons with 2.48 made per game. Nobody else makes more than 2.2 per game.

Only about 50 D1 players nationally (out of over 4000 total) average 2.5 or more three point FGs made per game.
