Drake with hot shooting leads Evansville in the first half-

Drake on a 24-6 run as they are now blowing out Evansville 64-45. Hard to believe it was 40-39 Drake not that long ago, and that a missed dunk for the lead by Evansville sparked this run.

Even harder to believe is that this is the same Evansville team that blew us out by 30 not long ago! Evansville playing some of the worst defense I have seen in a long while! And that's saying a lot considering how bad our defense has looked at times this year!

Drake wins 78-54 as they finish on a 38-15 run! We'll know by Tuesday if Ben Simons gets clearance to play after his bout with mononucleosis. If he gets to play on Wednesday, look out! It could be messy for us. If it's the Drake of the previous two games however (39 and 53 points scored respectively), then we have a good chance to win.
