Northern Iowa pulled away from Illinois State in the second half and came away with a 78-63 victory. Bryant Allen lead the Redbirds with 17 pts while Seth Tuttle lead the Panthers with 17 pts.

Darrious Clark had left the team for a "leave of absence" two weeks ago.
But apparently he is back with the team. The official box score shows he played two minutes in last night's game. It's the first time he has played in the last 11 games.

an interesting comment in one of the articles out of Omaha on Creighton...
Saturday's game where Creighton lost to by 20 to the Shockers - MVC Commissioner Doug Elgin was in attendance...
it was reported that one ex-Creighton Bluejay who was sitting right near the bench then yelled at Doug Elgin to instruct the refs to "protect" the Bluejays' star player, Doug McDermott, and also to instruct the Wichita players to lay off him, and I guess let him score!

Valley Commissioner Doug Elgin began yelling at Elgin during the game to get
the officials off of Doug McDermott and keep one of the Valley's stars in the
game."
The identity of the ex-Creighton player was revealed by plenty who were there and tweeted about it...
btw - elsewhere I saw that ESPN's Stephen Bardo "called out (Creighton) on national tv multiple times...for booing their team with 6 minutes left and then for packing up and leaving with 4 minutes left."Comment
