New starting lineup ..

I like the change - having Shayok, Charron, AT, & Walt coming off the bench adds energy and it paid off
AT had his arms moving everywhere and the Sycs simply never got a decent or easy look inside - hallelujah!!

New looking offense with more cuts and low post screens. Its working so far. Ind. State not prepared for these moves.

Screening along the baseline opened up players much closer to the basket, instead of trying to bust them loose on a screen 30 feet from the hoop.
It led to some good opportunities down low

I guess the NCAA has adopted the continuation rule

This was a horribly bogus call - Odum still had a foot on the 3-pt arc when the whistle blew and yet he was allowed to take a couple steps, a couple dribbles, then even do a double clutch and shoot and the refs counted the basket.
Later in the game when we had a similar move - they did NOT allow it and I think the two refs who did not make this bad foul call were kinda embarrassed that their partner did.

The defense is different. In the first 22 games we tried to avoid fouls and backed off players down low. Tonight for the first time we are bodying up against them and not afraid to be physical. Its working.

Agree, agree, agree ..we still need it cranked up another level for teams like Wichita - tougher defense and some hard fouls..
