Speaking of Evansville - they fully expect a SELLOUT in their first game, an exhibition contest vs. University of Southern Indiana...a cross town D-II rival.
The last time they played (in 2008 ) they drew almost 10K, and the time before that they drew over 11,500 -
and in 2004 when the two played at Roberts - they drew a whopping 12,441 - the largest crowd ever! -- and will likely always be their largest crowd since they now have moved to an arena that does not seat 12K!
so why don't they play these guys as a regular season game?
...maybe play 'em twice if you draw those kinds of crowds!Comment
