  • Remy Abell

For those who want to follow former BU recruit Remy Abell-
Remy had his best game of the year. He played 19 minutes in Indiana's game Saturday at Purdue, shot 5 for 6 and scored 19 points. He also had 4 rebounds, and his play keyed Indiana to a road win over rival Purdue. He is shooting 46% on threes for the year

Look for Remy to get a lot more minutes next year after Verdell Jones, Matt Roth, and Daniel Moore are gone.

    Ouch!!

Would he be starting for BU? I'd have to say yes. And that was against Purdue? Would have been nice to run him out there against ISU for 4 years...

Remy looks like a player. He's starting to get some key minutes with IU. Seems like a guy who is only going to improve. Best of luck to him.

Any other "fall out" updates on Danny Granger after that controversial BU coaching change?

Heard he did some pretty impressive things post BU....

of course AZ - as you know there are updates of virtually all our ex-Braves and past Braves recruits...that's just something available here that trumps almost every other fanboard I have ever seen it great followup of our past guys.....
                it's nothing new why??
BTW -- Danny Granger has missed the entire preseason and will miss the opener with knee problems - it may be more serious than has been let on.

Good for him. Is he linked to BU hoops in any way? I almost forgot about him, hoping to move on.
Let's be sure to post his stat-line when he's not doing so hot too, o.k.?

There are also Braves "fans" that feel the same way about Bradley players that actually graduated from Bradley! "Break a leg", right?
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

                      And while we're at it...

Congratulations to two of my favorite all time Braves, Roger Phegley and Bobby Humbles, on their long and distinguished career with State Farm.

Humbles was my insurance agent when I was still in Peoria....
                        His Agency was top notch

Of course you know T, I was only throwing a slight elbow into the ribs of the 'if only they were here' folks in the low post...

                          Incidental contact....

I had just read about Granger on ESPN and couldn't miss a chance for just a little fair and balanced opinion (sarcasm) on BF.com. It had been a while after all.

BTW.... 2012-13 MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest will be back, bigger than ever!

I loved Roger Phegley when I was a kid. I'll never forget when he and Dave Corzine visited Dave Darnell's Eureka College basketball camp.

Remy Abell is in action again tonight - as IU hosts tiny NAIA Indiana Wesleyan...
but Wesleyan lead much of the first half - drawing even a few negative comments from some of the fans who are twitter-posting to their boards...

then in the final 7-8 minutes of the 1st half - the Hoosiers finally took charge and lead at half 41-30... Remy playing well and leads the Hoosiers in assists thus far..
