Optimism

BU has a great fan base but certainly isn't immune to losing good fans -- I talked again today with another fan who owns a condo in Florida and is torn between whether he should be spending his retirement days down there with his family or staying here to watch the games...
I'm talking a family that has been season ticket holders for 30 years...
I will leave it to you as what he was thinking and planning - but it was probably reflective of what a lot of people are thinking right now....
I know there were many fans who did not like JL and were unhappy last year....but they still didn't bolt or move to their condos in Florida....
I think we are at a dangerous crossroads and another year like this one - will cause the numbers to drop to historic lows....unimaginable.....we need to start winning.....

Nothing wrong with spending Winters in Florida, or even better, Arizona. I had season tickets for many, many seasons but when I got the opportunity to get away from Winters in Peoria, I didn't have to think twice. I see as many home games as I can, usually 5, before I leave. Don't consider it bolting. Sure there have been many doing the same thing for years.
