Yeah but the supporting resume numbers assisted in those cases. Nobody, except maybe MSU, will have those numbers this time around. Plus, the selection committee is flat-out racist against mid-majors now.

The NIT does have automatic bids and at least six Valley teams are mathematically capable of getting one (only one automatic NIT bid would be available from a conference)

The automatic bids are for regular season conference champions....I'ma gonna go out on a limb and say no one's catching Creighton and Wichita St

all I am saying is that there are at least six teams that are yet to be mathematically eliminated from the possibility of finishing in the top spot yet failing to win the Tourney
