Many remember Charlie- what a great guy, and a terrific coach. I had the pleasure of metting him a number of times, and he always had time to talk to anyone. He was a great story teller, and probably the best speaker ever at the game day luncheons of the past. He will be missed.

The best luncheon speaker that I had the pleasure to hear. His last luncheon here I had the pleasure to meet him At E.Peo. HS. He was over there the night B4 we played them watching DeAron williams from Limestone. I saw him sitting by himself so I went over introduced myself ,told him I loved his Doyle story and talked to him about 15 minutes. He was so enjoyable to talk to. When he found out I knew dearon he had plenty of questions about Dee. People like him don't come along often in the coaching field and he will be miss. RIP Spoon and prayers to your family.
