I agree Geno hasn't done anything good for us YET. He still may.

I believe the biggest problem we have had the past two seasons is a total lack of on-the-court leadership. We have none. None.

Geno does his thing in the practice gym and from the bench. There needs to be an extension of this onto the court, and we don't have that guy. We have a bunch of quiet, shy, beta-males.

Drop a few guys off the roster and go get a solid juco point guard and a juco center. Get some guys with a leadership mentality.
    Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

I agree that Geno is going to have to go the JUCO route to even get this team to win about 4 or 5 more games next year. But that may be better than the alternative. If you want an alternative, see Towson who is 1-23 overall, after FINALLY breaking a 22 game losing streak with a win over UNC-Wilmington. Those who don't think things can get worse, well, Towson is a LOT worse!

Have they been getting blown out by 30 and 40 points at home too?

Yes. Their AVERAGE margin of defeat in their 10 home losses has been 19. And the CAA is far inferior to the MVC this season.

Last night they lost by 25 against the team they were tied for last with at 1-10.

That would be a great Bracket Buster game for us.

I think our best leader is a guy sitting on the bench in street clothes who suffered a season-ending injury in the summer.
But we need more guys like that - and leadership should come from a guard too.

And do they draw 8,000+ per game and have a fan base that yearns for a championship and gives a coach a million dollar contract to get wins?
Maybe I'll check out their fan message board later and see which Townson fan saw my post and is enfuriated by it!

And I think 1 win for Townson is a WHOLE lot better than 1 win for Bradley if you look at the support for the program and how much basketball is valued in the community. Correct me if I'm wrong - I haven't done any research on the history of Towson basketball and what their fan base is like.

I will now eat crow and admit that Beninator (and some others) were right ever since the exhibition games that our offense needs to change in order to be competitive in the league. It just looks dicombobulated lately compared to the teams that beat us. Seems so easy for them and so hard for us - shouldn't be that way.
Time for Geno to make adjustments. Is it too late? Is he willing to adjust?

IMHO, This isn't about who is right or wrong on the board. I certainly have been wrong on here quite a bit. This is about fans wanting Bradley to win. I have seen things this year, and last year for that matter, that have alarmed me and that makes me raise questions about the thought process behind the decisions of a coach or BU officials. Anybody who has known me in the workplace can tell you that I question upper management with the end result to make things better for people on a daily basis.
                    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

On some occasions, yes. They haven't even broken 50 points half the time!

I especially love that Drexel score. Towson puts up just 27 total points against a team we almost beat at their place! Yup, I think there are a few teams worse than us, and we can very easily end up like them if we don't turn things around right away.

I haven't either. And I would be curious if they have a first year coach there as well.

We may need a cardinal to smash through the window of Geno's office or through a window in his house. It would be a good omen for our upcoming game against the Redbirds. It worked for Towson!
