  • Murray State rap anthem

Murray State is off to a spectacular start at 21-0 and leading the Ohio Valley Conference. They have a legitimate chance to finsh the regular season undefeated.
But did they really need to create their own rap anthem? The video is clever, and includes many of the basketball players, but the music is awful-

Sure its a bit goofy (and mostly its about 5 verses too long) , but I recall a few goofy songs about BU written and "released" in the week after making the s16.

I'd love to be undefeated at this point in the season to hear more goofy songs about Bradley hoops!

For an original song with students and players in it is pretty good.....much better than the Indiana song (that was like 10 minutes long)

good length and its cool how they got professors involved......

i wish we would make a song....

        Remember the Bradley MVC shuffle!

A good song that both the students and fan base could get into back in the day!

No way. That Indiana song is way better than this one. And it's shorter. They tied their history in with their current team and the state of Indiana. And had a ton of attractive girls in the video haha. This one has some cool ideas in the video and good editing. But the lyrics are a product of every frat guy who throws on a snapback hat and thinks they can rap when they clearly can't.

Doesn't Wichita State also have a fight song that's accompanied by somewhat obscene hand gestures?

I also enjoyed the video from the Indiana song. They did a very nice job editing some old clips into the video and turned out pretty good really. The song isn't going to win a Grammy but it is kinda catchy.

Don't forget the Super Bowl Shuffle. They backed it up, but have only been in 1 Super Bowl since, and losing that 1. Bask in your glory while you can.

Not to bring this up again but the Indiana video is what I want for our intro video at Bradley. Without the kids rapping of course. But some old videos mixed with some new stuff set to a hip-hop beat. I don't think that is too much to ask.
