  • wow was that fun

That was about as much fun as I've had in the last 15 years. I've never seen kids so unselfish and really look like they enjoy playing together. Kudos to the coaching staff for what they have done. If we are 8th in our league its going to be a super league. I personally liked coach Mo but this is the way basketball is supposed to be played. Great effort and thanks for the fun. Have a great Thanksgiving and lets go get two in C-Town.Once a Brave always a Brave.

I agree. Its the passing, everyone gets a touch and everyone looks for the open man. It will be interesting to see how we do on the road.
      Can we start winning soon?

Couldn't have said it better myself Wily...That was a blast! I can't remember any BU team that has moved the ball around as well as these guys did tonight. Unselfish team basketball!!!! It was a fun night at Carver.

Has any else noticed the smile on the faces of this team during dead balls. They just talk about what could have happened and then go do it next trip down the floor. They are having fun. SO AM I. This is a pleasure to see. Great job players and coaches.

I just logged on and was going to post the same thoughts as above. This was an awesome game for the teamwork, and passing that they displayed. I also cannot remember ever having this much fun at the games as I have had the last 4 games.

The players deserve a lot of credit, but so do the coaches for the fantastic preparation and game plan, as well as the in-game coaching. At the start of the game they got a bunch of easy layups and shots on prepared plays; at the start of the 2nd half they scored the first 4 baskets to stetch a 13 point lead out to 22 in just a minute and a half; and every time they came out of a timeout they scored quick baskets. As good a coach as Molinari was, I don't remember any of his team doing those things well at all. These are signs of an extraordinarily well coached team. Congratulations to them. And if anyone is considering coming to future games, now is the time, this team is unbelieveably entertaining.

              WOW!

Now, that was fun! I agree with what has been said so I won't repeat it. What I want to add is this: I think Florida A&M was the worst defensive team I have seen since Stan Albeck's teams. No, I take it back... Albeck's teams were experts at defense compared to those guys, and Stan was a defensive genius compared to that coach! BAD BAD BAD!

I would agree George...they were an awful defensive team.... Not to take anything away from the Braves...From a coaching standpoint, at what point do you come out of your zone? After 9 three's...10?...11?

Bradley had 30n assists on 36 field goals!
What a fun, fun team to watch.

Can you imagine what we'd be if Patrick O'bryant had stayed!!!

It's just my opinion, but we probably wouldn't be playing the same style of ball. Last year, the emphasis was on getting the ball into the post for POB. So if he was still here, I suspect we would be doing the same thing.....and not shooting as many threes!

JL has adapted his style of play this year to the team's strengths, which are the PG's and wing players. Just as BBrave and I predicted months ago on this board.....

I've thought about that "T" and I'm not sure BU would be that much different than last year if POB had stayed. This team is the way they are out of necessity. JL revamped the offense because he knew he wasn't going to have the size he had last year. This team reminds me of Don Nelson's, Run TMC era at Golden State. Now with that said, do I think they would have a much better shot at making some noise in the NCAA tourney with POB, definitely.

Seems like we share similar thoughts on this subject O&B.

The thing I noticed is the ball movement. Such crisp, clean passes. inside, outside, swing it, find the open man, swish. That seemed to be the trend. Man it was fun to watch. 107 points. When was the last time that happened? I agree with whoever said, "who does Rutgers try to shut down?" Nobody knows. This is a veteran team that can shoot the lights out. I never thought i would see 20 threes go down at Carver. That was an unbelievable sight. This team is overachieving like crazy. I want to play Illinois so bad. What a Saturday it would be. Notre Dame over USC(football) and Bradley over Illinois.
