    DSE is 3rd in the Valley in 3 pointers made {25}, and is in the Top 10 in 3-pt. shooting {42.4%}
    This is one positive this year from an individual player standpt. Granted he's had 2 really hot shooting games in which he's a combined 10-16.

    Now if we can get a sharp shooter for next season, and DSE can shoot like he has in Valley play, our offensive options could increase. Yesterday I can remember 4 long range shots that were wide open that were missed (badly).

    Anyways, kudos to DSE for working on his shot. Now he needs to connect closer in on his drives, and he'll be about as dangerous as any other guard in the Valley.

    DSE can be a dangerous 3-pt shooter if he stays this consistent -- we need to get screens and pass the ball inside out to get him more opportunities

      SCREENS? We ain't got no screens. We don't need no screens! I don't have to show you any stinkin' screens!"
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

      ???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

          Am I missing somthing here? Anyway, way to go DSE, he is one of the best guards in this league PERIOD! He is also gonna be a big part of this run we are about to go on! Tho its not gonna be because hes killing them from 3 but now that they have to come out there he can go by the defense and hes also one of the best passers we have!

              this was discussed 3 years ago - that Mike LaTulip would never play at Illinois, he was aiming way too high and would be a deep bench walk-on much of his career...

              but that may change -
              LaTulip is now a senior - he has played three seasons and has only one season left - and he doesn't want to transfer then sit out then finish his degree...
              So he's going to redshirt this season, finish his degree at Illinois then transfer as a grad transfer in 2016....
