  • ESPN3 games?

Everyone has probably saw that Creighton and Missouri St. to name 2 teams are affiliated with ESPN3. They get their local broadcast on the ESPN3 site. I think there may be some other MVC teams that do this as well. I think that really helps fans, and probably can be used for future recruiting and such. Does anyone know if BU plans on trying to get affiliated with this? The bandwidth and picture of the games are so much better than the BUBraves.com webcast.

Bradley has some games on ESPN3.

I think they just get the rights to various local feeds across the country. I don't know how many feeds ESPN3 runs are Bradley feeds (the most recent one was a MSU/BU game where they had the MSU feed).

Now that would be great but I just wish they would have a better more consistent feed PERIOD!

See my previous thread. There are four more Bradley games this year on ESPN3, one of them being this Saturday night at Creighton (whether we want to see that game or not!). That game will probably consist of Creighton announcers again. There are some games affilated with the Valley that are also shown on ESPN3, consisting of Valley announcers. One game had Mitch Holthus and Dave Kaplan announcing last week as part of an exclusive Valley game for the week.

I know last year there were a few of the WTVP.2 feeds simulcast on ESPN3 (and a few of those were also added to ESPN's Full Court package available on satellite and some cable providers). It does seem they use other teams feeds this year.

Yeah, ESPN3 probably got smart and decided not to use our feed due to all the glitches. Maybe Bradley will upgrade themselves into the 21st century one of these years by upgrading their equipment!

Here is my post from the other thread where I listed the remaining ESPN3 Bradley games:

I must say that Doug Elgin did a terrific job securing this year's Valley tv contract. In addition to the usual MVC games on Comcast Sports Net, and the Bradley games on WTVP, ESPN3.com is showing an average of two or three Valley games per each set of league games. In other words, 2 to 4 games are being shown midweek, while another 2 to 4 are being shown during the weekend.

Bradley will have five more games shown on ESPN3.com, with perhaps one additional game shown during Bracketbusters weekend (though doubtful), and maybe one more during Wild Card Weekend. The five games shown on ESPN3.com are as follows:

MSU at Bradley, 1/21, 7 PM
Bradley at Creighton, 1/28, 7:05 PM
Bradley at Illinois St, 2/4, 7:05 PM
Bradley at Missouri St., 2/12, 3 PM
Drake at Bradley, 2/15, 7 PM

And the last 3 games here are covered by MVC-TV, so the feed should be pretty good I would imagine.

I only have BU-All Access for a couple more games. No road games at all were viewable for replay a day or 2 after the games were played, and that was the only way I could see the games. And you actually have to pay for these games. It's still not a bad deal for the monthly plan, but you expect to see all the games and only get to see half - not good.

Any feed coming out of Carver is very average at best. The ESPN feeds are a bit better out of Carver then BU.tv but not by much. I'm guessing the network in Carver is old.
