Next game- Bradley at Creighton, Sat. 1/28 7:05 PM
Not so much anymore about losing but competing, do not expect to win just wish we would quit making the same boneheaded mistakes in valuing each possession instead of trying that long down court pass that always seems to sail out of bounds.
Just wondering what color jerseys Bradley will wear Saturday?
According to Dave Reynolds' article- Both BU and CU players will don pink shooting shirts. Creighton players will wear pink jerseys, while Bradley players will wear pink shoelaces. The Bradley coaches will also wear pink ties.
The Creighton site announced a log time ago they would be wearing pink jerseys for the game, and auctioning them off to raise money for cancer charity. Maybe Bradley will wear their usual white away jerseys, but they might choose an alternate color to increase the contrast with the Creighton pink. So I'd expect the alternate black, or possibly the home red jerseys. Anyway, it should be interesting watching the game with all the pink.
Also note- Dave mentions that Taylor Brown suffered a right wrist injury in the SIU game. The injury occurred on the hard foul committed by Justin Bocot in the second half on Taylor's breakaway dunk attempt. He was fouled intentionally by Bocot with a hard foul that Geno and most in attendance expected to be called a flagrant foul, since a less severe foul by Bradley just a few minutes earlier was ruled flagrant. However, it was called a routine foul, and Taylor was awarded only 2 free throws. I noticed Taylor was holding his wrist after that foul. He seemed to play well for the rest of the game, but apparently he was still having pain the next day. X-rays are reportedly negative, so thankfully, TB should be OK for the Creighton game.

Never assume he will be OK. Yes x-rays were negative, but a slight sprain could hurt his shot. I'm sure we all have had pains that affected us even though x-rays were negative. Football, basketball, baseball, tennis and even golf!

I didn't think it was that bad of a foul - it was more of TB trying to dunk the ball and then hanging on the rim before letting go with his momentum still going forward. He was obviously frustrated for most of the night, but played with passion, intensity, and everything else that makes his an MVC 1st team-caliber player.
I didn't think that an intentional foul should have been called on TB in the 1st half, as he was clearly going after the ball, and even appeared to make contact with the ball from behind.
