  • Followup of 2010 BU recruit Jarod Oldham

Many people remember this name - a very athletic and talented kid from Decatur Eisenhower who Bradley wanted..but he wasn't much of a scorer so he didn't get tons of interest...
BUT he has become a star at Buffalo where he is now a sophomore...

As a freshman he didn't play much and his numbers were unimpressive, but he turned himself into a decent ball handler and has now converted this season to playing POINT GUARD...

You decide if just maybe Bradley could have used this kid...

He had 10 assists in last night's big win over EMU.
    Oldham now avg. 7 assists/game on the season & 4.3 rebs & 2 steals!
He's become a star since switching to full time point guard!

Buffalo won 65-47 with Oldham also playing great defense. He has 8 or MORE assists in EIGHT different games this year and has done it 6 times out of the last 10 games!!

Jarod Oldham's averages over the past 10 games are... 5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 8 asst, 2 steals......
He has his team (Buffalo) in 2nd place in the MAC with the 2nd best record in the league... and only 1 game out of first

He leads the Mid-American Conference in assists and if 5th in steals....his numbers are arguably even better than DJ Cooper...

one more followup on ex-BU recruit Jarod Oldham - he ended up having a fine sophomore season at Buffalo...
converted to point guard he finished the season averaging 6.0 assists per game
(would have led the Valley easily)...
and an A/T Ratio of better than 2:1...plus 5 ppg, and 4.3 rpg...

and it worked as he led his team, Buffalo, which had won 14 of 17 games until getting knocked off by Ohio in the MAC Tournament....
Buffalo ended 19-10 and will face American University in the CIT..

really tough, tough break for ex-BU recruit sophomore Jarod Oldham - who has suffered a broken wrist and is out 8-10 weeks -
He was a key player for Buffalo with 10.1 ppg, 4.4 assists

now they are saying Jarod Oldham's wrist injury will not be sufficiently healed and will likely end his season...
tough break as he was Buffalo's 2nd leading scorer...
