It's looking like we may have a four way tie for third at 5-5! That's pretty pathetic beyond the top two teams in the conference. It's good to have parity, but not when just two out of ten teams have an above .500 conference record! Oh well. Barring a collapse by CU or WSU, the Valley will at least still have two teams going to the Big Dance this year.

We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Best case scenario is for CU and WSU to run away with the MVC and both lose in STL to get 3 teams in.

The middle of this conference is a mess. If nothing else, the case of the MVC is very solvent. No NIT representation would sting slightly though. We're going to flood the EIEIOs this year.

You are right TAS that maybe the seeding of CU and WSU won't be affected by the teams in the Valley either. Both CU and WSU should get some decent seeding just based on their non-conference records alone.Last edited by Bravesfan; 01-26-2012, 12:03 AM.

Right now SIU is one game out of 3rd place, and the team thought by most to be the best candidate for 3rd was Indiana State - they're in 9th and may be the only team left BU has a hope to catch
