I like WL but here's hoping we have another option.

I would imaging Bell will be given every opportunity to start.

Bell is not a true point guard. Lemon will most likely be better that Bell next year.

From everything I've read in his commitment thread he is a true point guard and is never once described as anything else. I havent seen him myself so I could be wrong. Just going by what DC and t say in his commitment thread.

He is playing the point but from what I have heard from people who have watched him play he is not a true point guard right now. He might turn in to that down the road.

Playing PG in high school and in college are quite different. Geno and the coaches believe KB can make the transition, but can he be ready to contribute next season?-

I dont know the answer to that but like I said I think he will be given the opportunity. Or maybe we land a JUCO PG that hasnt even been talked about yet.

I like walt at the point, not saying hes not a work in progress, like everything else but I like it and hope he is the starting point guard next yr with dse,we,jp,nw, I also hope Donivine is back next yr and gets a chance. Walt can get to the rack anytime he wants, he could kiss a lil more ref butt, but thats not him, Hes just a soph, the refs his jr a sr yr will give him more calls, lets just get him right at the line, Not saying he makes both free throws and forces overtime tho I think he does, that was a BLOCK not a charge, Prosser shouldve screened that guy outta there anyway. Go braves, sorry about my grammer lol

judging from what we've seen Geno appears to formulate his mindset and go with a certain starting lineup from game 1 on...

show me where changes have been made anywhere except the one switch to zone vs. UNI that was more desperation and frying pan to fire than anything else...
Thus since Ka'Darryl is being recruited as our point guard would it surprise anyone if he starts as PG from Game 1?

Or, as you have said in the past, maybe guys arent showing him enough in practice to warrant making a change. I'm sure its not as simple as Geno making up his mind and refusing to change.

I think Walt could create at the 2 and be just as productive in the offense without having to be our PG. Our offensive flow would likely be smoother with someone other than WL running the point. IMO, he's done a good job considering.

                          +1

He is not a natural at the position. At this level you need someone who is comfortable with the ball in their hands at all times. I wish he could concentrate on the 2. He could than practice more on his jumper than his PG skills.
