  • Coach Mo has new facility

Former Bradley Coach Jim Molinari has realized an aspect of his contractual hire.

Within a certain amount of time (I don't know the contractual language) Coach Molinari would be provided his own basketball court.

Well he has gotten his wish:

Also of note Mo's team went to Oakland and beat them on the same floor that Oakland beat Tennessee this year... Yeah Tennessee is down. but still.

WIU's losses would give an unhealthy man heart failure. Lose by 1 to South Dakota State, Lose by 1 to UIC.....lose by 1 to Oral Roberts in double overtime. Also lost to Michigan by 3 after leading for most the game.

Ohhhhh. How many times have we been told on this board that facilities don't matter.
        Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

btw- that Oakland University home floor is the same floor that BU beat both Kansas & Pitt on in 2006!

It was great coverage, T. Great coverage of both teams. Especially liked the article regarding the WIU women's program. BU smoked them this year but I am a big fan of Coach Gravina from his days at Quincy. You want to talk about passion. Coach Gravina embodies it. The future of both of WIU's basketball programs are in great hands. Gravina is a big time coach and I really admire Coach Molinari! Great father Great Coach! Great articles! I commend the PJSTAR for doing these!
