The Lady Braves halted a two game skid as they prevailed 90 ???‚¬??? 77 over Western Illinois. Jen Brown ran the point and chipped in with a career high 19 points. Ashley Chelleen also added 19, Kelly Krumwiede had 16, and Devyn Flanagan 11 to lead the women.
WIU ran a lot of back door cuts in the first half, but BU shut that down in the 2nd half. On the other hand WIU turned the ball over too much in the first half with long passes. BU overplayed the passing lanes and either stole the ball or forced an out of bounds pass. WIU corrected this in the 2nd half.
A good victory of the women, but I thought they played down to their opposition a little. IMHO they should have won by more. I guess that???‚¬?„?s a good problem to have.
