Former BU player Daniel Ruffin scored a team-high 22 points and had 9 assists to lead the Bloomington Drive to a 106-87 win over the St. Louis Phoenix last night. It was the Drive's first home game and they are now 2-0 on the season in the Premiere Basketball League.

That game against the Sauk Valley Predators was played at Sterling High School in Sterling, Illinois. Some of their home games are at Highland Community College in Freeport.
Here is a video of a halftime dunking act at a Predators game and it appears the gym is at pretty full capacity with a lot of people standing, maybe a couple thousand in attendance?-

Daniel Ruffin scored the game-winner...finishing with 19 pts, 5 asst.
Salley had 11 pts, 8 rebs, and Pekin's Todd Peterson finished with 14 pts.
Carlton Fay had 11 pts & 11 rebounds in Sauk Valley's first loss.
Predators guard Devan Bawinkel has been hampered by injury and is averaging 1.5 ppg

But again - I am impressed how well kids like Daniel Ruffin & Matt Salley play and how much they contribute to their teams...
I see this as even more evidence of how underappreciated Bradley players seem to be ...
