  • Steady Improvement

Let's see if we can string together 2 solid games in a row.
I thought the Michigan game was our best all-around game until the game Sat. night. I thought Creighton played better than Michigan when we faced them too.

If we are close to even in rebounds with Creighton, we may have seen a game down to the wire. I would like to see steady improvement in defensive rebounds above all right now.

The assist-Turnover margin is one area I think we've improved, which is a good sign, and that is evident in better ball movement as of late.

The free throw issue is one that may not change by year's end. To me, there's a psychological barrier for every guy for BU - like it's going through their mind - "Don't screw up, don't screw up, don't...doh!"

The days of giving up too many offensive rebounds will hopefully end soon as the coaching staff continues to work with these guys.

I think one of the reasons we improved is that we slowed down the offense and got away from a run and gun style.

I think that Shayock continues to improve.

I agree with you on the assists/turnover.

I posted at the beginning of the year that I thought we would improve with fee throws. Hopefully we turn that around for next year.

    Still need better shot selection.

Still would like to see more screens and even more of a team concept to this years offense.
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
