BU never quit and would have 3-4 more wins under their belt if they had played some other games like that.....TB played very aggressive...Jake played well most of the night...SS played we'll in the first half but didn't do much on the second....Where was Pross?....BU could have quit and most of us wouldn't have been surprised but they made a game of it.....the house comes down if DSE makes that 3..........
We gotta build on that effort against Drake though. I don't know if we can win there, but it is a winnable game. If we play like we did tonight against UNI at home next week, and shore up the defense a bit, we can beat them as well.

0 points (0-2), 1 rebound, 2 fouls, 1 turn over in 18 minutes! I just don't know. It looked like he had so much potential last year, but it appears to all be gone.

We just aren't deep enough to guard well for 40 minutes so that's going to be a struggle...nice to see Woods play more and hit the three.....

Obviously I'd rather we win but at least the effort was there and you felt like we had a chance at the end. For the most part our offense looked a lot better. Our defense leaves a lot to be desired. McDerment looked all world against us. Over half of his points had to be on layups when he would just beat us down the court. He finally started to struggle a little bit late when we were more physical with him. Not sure what the answer is for our defense. We don't improve that, we won't win. At least our offense in this game will give us something to build on.

I am all positive, but it is not a good sign to me that Woods plays more. That means we have scholies on the bench that are worthless.

That scoring burst likely put McDermott as the top scoring player in the nation now. 18-23 shooting with half the teams points tonight is simply amazing. He made it seem effortless despite being hounded by TB all night. What makes it even more amazing is that he's a Forward. You don't see many forwards putting up these types of numbers even in the NBA.

Hope he goes pro after this season, the Bulls could certainly use a high scoring Forward.

Yah, if I was Stewart or Hodges, I would be looking to transfer after this season. If you can't get in the game when the team is getting blown out game after game, then it's time to move on.

If that wasn't enough, the bench will get longer next season when Egolf & Wells come back along with 2 or 3 new recruits. Start scouting new teams to join Stewart and Hodges.

Or that Coach thinks Woods is better than them.

Not quite. The top scorer, Damian Lillard of Weber State, scored 38 points last night in a win at Portland State.
So McDermott remains the #2 scorer, but he raised his average to 25.2 ppg.

In my opinion, like Jake, Jordan's being asked to do things that are beyond his talent and skill-set. Ideally, a kid like Prosser would be your first 'big' off the bench. Instead, he's starting and playing out of position. Last night was a terrible match-up either way. He couldn't guard the 4 or the 5.

JP... What happened to him? Sticks is a far better option on both sides of the ball.
FSM , I agree word for word. It's gonna get better.

I would like to see a little more of Crawford though

If I were an assistant on that team, I'd spend every waking hour trying to convince Jalen that the way to get more minutes is through defense. If he has the foot speed to really stick a guy, he could be a bitch to play against because of his physical stature. He'd just have to want to play harder than he could ever imagine. He should want to work so hard everyday in practice that he feels like he's going to puke.
