Couldn't agree more. I have noticed a couple of the biggest "fans" sitting on their hands no matter how BU was doing! If you aren't going to cheer this effort...what will you cheer for?
My legs were sore after 10 hours of work today...I was standing on the inside...
Chico, I was referring to the people who come to the game and can't be bothered to cheer their team on, but can find the time to be loud with their criticism. You know my mother (Kappy) hated those type of fans!
I was impressed by our effort tonight on offense and encouraged with the overall attitude of the team. They didn't hang their heads when things went bad and just kept coming back! If we can get the defense on line we can surprise some people.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.
I think tonight this team learned just how hard they have to play to have a chance to win games. If they can do this the rest of the way out, they'll pick up a couple of Ws.
The last 10 minutes of effort was nice but in reality, they are not disciplined enough to play tough D for 40 minutes. Bradley was on their way to another 30 point blowout if it wasn't for a couple key shots that got some momentum going.
It was still fun to see the Creighton fans squirm in their seats the last few minutes of the game though.

Hmm.. When I go to a basketball game, I want to watch the game taking place on the floor. Kind of an interesting concept.
The team has displayed numerous times that they will provide a lot of effort, the next step is to play smarter.
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I guess I have no idea who you are referring to because I was watching the game and cheering as hard as ever - I was not really watching the other fans but most were pretty danged supportive and loud...and I kinda wonder why anyone would care what other fans are doing when BU was making a run like that???

I know your mom would have been proud of the effort the kids gave tonight against a quality opponent. Having great memories of our many trips and good times in W.Peoria.
