Attendance after the first 3 conference games last year was 24,284 and 28,482 the year before that.
After 2 conference games this season, we're sitting at 14,788.
Attendance is now up to 23,398 (7,799/game) after 3 conference games! That's only off 3.6% from last season!
Let's pack the place these next two weekend games before the three Wednesday games coming up in March.

Nothing is going to change the attendance trend this year, but you can keep beating that dead horse if you like. I appreciate the athletic department's efforts with promotions like 50% of upper bowl tickets and free kids tickets with purchase of an adult ticket. They're trying to get folks in the building while the product isn't quite good enough to get the job done.
Albeit another loss, I was certainly entertained last night.
I don't know....I believe at least being competitive in home games will help this year. That should at the very least give people hope for the future! I hadn't heard about those promotions, but that's good to know and they certainly do deserve acknowledgment for doing what they can to sell more tickets.
I was quite entertained last night by a game that was far more competitive than I thought it would be. After the first 2 home games, I honestly would have been ok with a 20-point loss if the team were playing hard for 40 minutes. Apparently, we have some D-1 players on this team that can play within 10 points of a top 25 team, but can barely stay within 40 points of other teams. That's the most frustrating part. I just hope to see more consistency between now and the end of the season!

I don't know what our attendance was tonight, but it looked like a pretty good crowd. And kudos to the crowd for getting into the game and giving our team energy. We need this from the fans EVERY game. I think we will get a few wins along the way if we put forth the effort the team and the crowd did tonight.
As long as the team plays well the crowd will give them the support, nice to finally see the crowd up and cheering last night as it makes the atmosphere so much better.
