    Dave Reynolds says this..
"The total of 7,605 who paid to see the Southern Illinois-Bradley game on
Wednesday is the lowest ticket sale for an SIU game at Carver Arena since
1992-93, when the paid attendance was 7,023"
    http://www.pjstar.com/bradleyhoops/x...00th-broadcast

    and Kirk Wessler said this...
"Attendance listed at 7604. I'm guessing about 5,000 actually in the seats."

Here's a comparison of where we were at this precise time, each of the past 3 seasons ....

Average home attendance in 2011-2012 after the 2nd home conference game: 6945
Average home attendance in 2010-2011 after the 2nd home conference game: 8150
Average home attendance in 2009-2010 after the 2nd home conference game: 8993

I am guessing that the Basketball Bowling promotion will help to increase attendance numbers?
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Just to be fair - I will note that one of our home games this year was at Renaissance and drew 4340 or so and that accounts for some of the dropoff..
but let's say that game was at Carver - it most surely wouldn't have drawn any more than the UMKC or Wofford games - around 7000- 7100 - so adjusting for that - the current home attendance might be up to around 7350 - still way, way down from any season in anyone's recent memory...

              That was horrible.

Also I could completely do without the dance team.

I thought I was the only one to notice how bad that was for the amount of time it takes to set-it-up!

Its the idea that it was SIU usuly one of the bigger crowds of the yr, I am optimistic about the rest of this season, It all starts with Saturday, What if as bad as these last two seasons have been there are 8 to 9000 there Saturday and a huge roar when the team comes out of the tunnel, Everyone standing and clapping with the fight song and YELLING B>>>R>>>>A>>>D>>>LEY, I know I'm dreaming but I think it would really say somthing about our fans and program might make a difference might not.

I had to sit one out after the 39 point loss debacle. There's four or five tickets that didn't sell for the Southern game...sure this is a common story.

Attendance after the first 3 conference games last year was 24,284 and 28,482 the year before that.

After 2 conference games this season, we're sitting at 14,788.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Hope to have a great crowd tonight to show the kids who are giving their best "once a Braves Fan always a Braves Fan."

I know tickets sold do not mean a loud and present crowd but still just wonderin. I suggest Mortal Kombat theme song for pre game! LOL A Boring chant during pre game maybe just what the crowd
