Seeing as though Les wasn't over .500 until Year 4.... shouldn't Coach Ford get the same opportunity? I think Bradley will be competitive by Year 3 or 4.

Yes, he deserves at least that long and will ceretainly get that, just as Jim Les did.

But will he give Bradley that long? If he has a good year - He is gone. Movin on up!

I voted for year 4. Was thinking about year 3 until I saw the Jabari Parker comment that went along with it.

I'd be good with that. If we really have succeeded. Then we will be in better shape for the future. I voted three years by the way.

I think he will have to have more than one.....with that said it seems that it's more possible to get to the top than stay at the top for mid-major coach...and I wouldn't blame a coach for moving on.

Couldn't be happier if this happens, as GF would have to get BU deep into the NCAA's to get a sniff at a better job.

On second thought, GF'd have to do it two years in a row, if JL's S-16 run didn't get him a look at Duke, UNC, Kansas, KY, Louisville, Indiana, Syracuse, The OS, Michigan, MSU, Wisky, etc.

I would hope GF could follow the success Greg Marshall has had at WSU since he took over...In his 4th year WSU won the NIT..

I put year 3. I did that based on think we SHOULD be competing for the top 3 by then. I could see year 4 as well, but I am hopeful.

We should start really competing .500 year 3 and contending for league title year 4. What gives me pause is this coming recruiting class. If it is weak I'll need to extend my prediction.

I think if he brings in more juco recruits for next season that he would have a chance to finish 4th next season and contend his 3rd year , if he doesn"t get more recruits it will take much longer because he needs to have players in his system at least 2 years in order for them to be successful.

                        Year 1: ???
                        Year 2: 5-7
                        Year 3: 3-4
Year 4: Contend for MVC title

I think 3 years is about right. If it takes a little longer I suppose that's ok just as long as there is progress made each year.

The pieces are there? Like a knock down shooter, point guard and a real big to the basket type player? Oh and the depth! The one thing this team does not have are the pieces. If you do not have the pieces but have depth than perhaps. I believe GF will recruit the pieces we need for next year but it will take another year for the team to play to his system.
