Road trip to Omaha

Is anyone going to the game at Creighton at the end of the month?

Myself, Big Lance, and a couple others are contemplating making the drive. That is one of two Valley venues I haven't been. There and Wichita.

I have been to Omaha the last few years. The arena is now called the Century Link Arena (formerly the Qwest Arena). The area just south of the arena is an old part of Omaha called the Old Market Area, and there are a number of shops, antique stores, and restaurants. It's an interesting area, but not really a lot to do.

We can only hope, right?
Any positives we can take from a road game at this point is wonderful!
We have shown flashes of being decent on the road at the beginning of the Valley season, but have looked terrible in the last 2 or 3.
At least we're done with Wichita St. and (gulp) SIU.

We ate at an authentic Lithuianian restaurant there 2 years ago--Excellent barley soup--pierogis to die for--delicious pork plate with kugelis--AND--creamy smooth dark beer served in big frozen white stone steins...I am ready to go back now just for dinner
