This is what I would do, I would focus every thing practice wise on conditioning, free throws and defense, I would run full court man to man with a lil zone press mixed in while Milos was on the court, I would start Donivine Stewart,DSE,Shayok Shayok,TB,Stix, With first two off the bench being JE and WL........ Prosser,Crawford, Milos, I would consider long and hard the thought of un redshirting NW, But i'm a lets win now kinda guy! We do this we would never lose lol j/k Go Braves I feel better, no no i dont!

Ok... Now tell us what you really think.

well...rest assured, that important people at BU in positions of significance DO read the board --
not sure how much stock they put into things being said - and I am also not sure if it's always a good idea to be too consumed by what people are saying but there is undeniable proof that people even at some of the highest levels view most every page and every comment

I guess this gives me an opportunity to torment people with too much time on their hands!

I agree. I thought that people were going to give Geno time, and that this year's record didn't matter.

We are only halfway through Season 1!
Yes, I will be upset if I don't see more consistency from this team a month from now, but I believe it will come.

I think we're all pretty frustrated that we are out of contention by the end of January for the last decade, whether it's a rebuilding year or not.

How are we out of contention?

What has Geno done to say " he knows what he is doing" ?

Do we feel that this team is better now than game 1?

Where are you going with this Bf1?

I'll try to address your concerns though...

Do you really think we will be contending for the MVC title come Feb. 1st?

A lot of us are just trusting that he knows more than we do since he sees the team every day. He's a proven winner, has the guys working hard and on the same page, and by his demeanor, he will work tirelessly to be successful at BU.

I feel we are better now than Game 1, yes. Some would disagree though.
Not a ton better, but I see improvement, especially offensively. I really thought we'd get more out of TB and DSE this year, but maybe there's so much pressure of those guys night in and night out. They're just playing a notch below 2nd team All-Valley right now.

I'm not ready to throw in the towl.

TB and DSE, what do u want from these guys?

Jordan Prosser is the biggest disapointment for me.

I'll give you a lil bit of improvement on "O" But not near as the decline in "D"

If we get back to playing D, we will be fine, these guys are gonna score, we just arnt stopping people!

I have to try and trust what Geno and his STAFF are doing, because they see it every day and we don??™t.

Just for fun though??¦I would like to see more playing time for a couple of freshman. A full court press. More set plays for TB and more shots for TB. JP to foul out of a game because he played ???hard-nosed-no-easy-baskets-in-the-paint-D.??? A few minutes for MK and some old school multiple baseline screen setting so he can get a shot up like the old Aaron Zobrist 3pt days.

I still try to see the good that this season may have in store, and I'm not throwing in the towel either, but it's unrealistic to think we'll be contending for the Valley title a month from now. My goal from a W-L standpoint is to exceed the win total in the Valley last year.

I guess neither TB nor DSE have impressed me on the defensive end.
Offensively, I thought TB would be putting up 20 ppg and more of a rebounding force. While he's been pretty solid, he has struggled to put together 2 good halves in a game.

DSE is doing better, but he is not playing up to 2nd-team yet. While his 3 pt. shooting has improved a bit, he has not been able to finish attacking the rim like he did the last 10 games of last season when he was hard to stop. He'll get it together though.

I guess with the lack of production from role players, I expect more out of TB and DSE, just because we NEED them to have great games every night out to have a chance to win.

JP has been disappointing to me too, but he is still learning. And the production from JE has been lackluster.

Walt has been the team's MIP, despite some poor decisions from time to time.

In the radio postgame last Wednesday I was really surprised to hear our coach say that we moved the ball well for 35 min. I think good ball movement must be defined differently in some folk's minds than others.
                            Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.
