If Creighton plays like they did when they played here in Tulsa, I don't even want to think about what the final score will be. They are the top team in the Valley this season, and I think when the dust settles at the end of February, they'll be playing that noon Friday game in STL.Comment

Definitely not looking forward to this game. McDermott is the nations second leading scorer. Difficult to say but this team is just above us in every category.

Never understood why the valley does the pairings like they do. It should be more like the NFL = wait and see who the winners are and pair.
When the 7th seed wins - they should play the 2nd seed.
When the 10th seed wins - they should play the 1st seed.
I have heard from the Valley officials that they don't want late game playing the early game on Friday. Here are the current Creighton stats- one thing to notice is their three point shooting. Creighton has 7 regular players that shoot 40% or better from three, including Doug McDermott at 58%. And as a team, they shoot 45.1%-
By comparison, Bradley has only Walt Lemon at 40%, and as a team we are at 29%-

Here is a list of the top 3-point shooters in the country in Division I-
Note #2 on the list is Creighton's Doug McDermott at 58%. Creighton also has #27 on the list Jahenns Manigat. McDermott is also #2 in the country in scoring at 23.9 ppg, behind former BU recruit Damian Lillard of Weber State.
#1 on the list of 3-point percentage is a freshman at SIU-E, Kris Davis, who was a lightly recruited kid from Detroit that Lennox Forrester signed. He is shooting an amazing 63.4% from three.Comment

I will just say, and I'm not sure if I'm going to this game or the Orchestra concert at Five Points that evening, but I remember two years ago that a certain struggling team gave me the best game I had ever been to when Ranked UNI came to Carver and fell hard 68-59 to a Braves team I hadn't seen since the Illinois game. To this day, that's the greatest game I have ever been to in any sport. That halftime run out of the locker room was just incredible. Any given Sunday (or Saturday in this case

I know some of you think I'm a "Debbie Downer" on this board because of my hate of the admin..... Sorry I've been negative on this board, just speaking from my heart.
Many times I wish we all would have logged in with our real names instead of pen names when this board started. I can honestly say - everything I haved typed in the past years would not have changed with my name listed above. Some of you know who I am.... if others wonder - I'm happy to tell you, meet you for a beer or whatever.
