Nope. But it would be nice if someone accepted some responsibility for what shapes up as possible the worst season of Bradley basketball in my lifetime.
For me, that was probably last year. This one could get that bad, but there's a lot of basketball left to be played. Also, I have no reason to believe we'd be any better this year had Coach Les been retained. At least now I can think to myself that we have made a new start and it might get better.
Didn't see any of the game since I was at my son's basketball game. But I only think it is fair for me to admit. This was one of the only games on our schedule that I thought was "we will win" game and "we have to beat them at home"
I am really surprised we didn't. I was also surprised they beat ISU. I have thought SIU would be the last place team in the Valley. Now I have to admit we could be that team. Hopefully things start to improve.
This is EXACTLY how I feel.

I think many share your opinion. Not all, but many.

I heard it can't get any worse than last season. I hope it doesn't.

Yeah, it's not like we lost to ISU at home last year...oh wait. Well we didn't lose to them 2 years ago..oh wait.
I'm not sure, but they were always accused of scheduling terribly and having a poor RPI.
Well you got a point there JD. Our first win last year came against a decent but fairly average Creighton team that of course took a huge step up this year. So our first win (if we get it) will come against a team like an Evansville or Missouri St. that can look like a top 25 team one night, and look like Towson the next night! Average teams are usually very erratic type teams, so expect our first win to be against EU, MSU, Drake or maybe ISU red as I don't really know how good they are yet. But still, my point is that irregardless of what happened the last couple of years, (and 2 years ago ISU red did not finish anywhere near last place) we can't keep losing to teams in the bottom 20% of DI at home.
I brought up Towson because as bad as we looked, Towson is an 0-14 team who lost to Drexel tonight 60-27! So I guess there are worse teams.
I do apologize in advance if I offend anyone tonight, including you JD as I am not in a good mood after this loss. But yeah, maybe we can sneak a few wins in before the end of the season.

Bottom line...this team is not very good right now. But I still see the guys playing hard. They just flat-out aren't good enough right now. You can see flashes here and there. You see the effort, but not the execution.
Our D was beyond poor. (side note- I was shocked to hear Danny and Dave say we had great team D tonight--we did not). However, I think we all knew this year was going to be tough.
This team is finding that out. The coaches, too.
We have to hope they can grow and learn, and find some W's

I think most games we will be in it at halftime....and then we will wear out and have trouble keeping up in the 2nd half.....just not enough depth and too-many minutes by the starters to keep it close. I have no other answer....we hit FT's tonight and had 16 assts/13 turn-overs....but give up way to many easy baskets!
Our defense stunk though in the first half as well when we were fresh. THAT'S the time to get out to a sizable lead, which we did not do. I even mentioned on the chat at that time that we cannot be trading baskets to a team this "bad"!
Maybe. But we were 8-20 that year, but there were no blowouts even close to the 39 point loss last week, and we won 6 MVC games (6-10) and finished 7th in the MVC.
Right now I am not sure we can win 8 games, and I doubt anyone is expecting 6 league wins.
Well this is a no win answer because you won't agree.
I can not remember the years.-
Joe Stowell's last season
One of Stan Albeck's teams with Dion Thurmon and Paul Wilson
The one that was actually the most frustrating to me was the first half of the season on our elite eight team.
All of those I had much higher expectations so they seem worse.
The actual worst one I can remember that may be agreed with is Molinari's first year.
I guess I am really impacted by my expectations. I did admit I did not expect this loss though.
