Well, this may be the first time I'm saying this, but this loss is on Geno tonight. Yes, we were out of gas in the second half and our lack of depth is killing us. But the first half really killed us as we traded baskets and failed to establish a lead. We gotta be more prepared on both sides of the ball, not just one one night and the other another the next night.

I thought Geno should have called a timeout before the 12 minute timeout in the 2nd half. We still had 4 timeouts, our guys were tired because they had played a lot of minute, we were stuck on 46 points and SIU was making a run. I think they scored 10 points in a row before the 12 minute timeout came. After the game, I thought only alcohol will help me watch the rest of our season's games.

Maybe...we just can't do much consistently well. JP couldn't hold on to the ball.
If we help we don't rotate well....defense is just poor right now...
We moved the ball decently the last 14 minutes in the first half and got some good shots....but as we get into the second half we just get physically and mentally tired.....some of those passes we tried to force into JP were so bad...
and can someone show Jake where the weight room is?

Awful. The most painful game to watch I have ever seen. Our offense is so predictable I can guess who is shooting well before they shoot, and if we play any defense at all, I didn't see it. I wouldn't blame any fan who doesn't want to torture themself if they stayed home the rest of the year. Is this the improvement we were promised? From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."
And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

On to tonight's game. I thought BU played as poorly on D as they could have. The rotation on our help defense is not good. Whether it was guys getting tired or not, I obviously don't know. To me, we looked woefully slow.
I thought we got a ton of good, sometimes easy looks, but we didn't hit enough. We did shoot around 45%, but that's not good enough when you don't play D.
Another close lose down the stretch. Coach Ford is going to have to make some changes either in the lineup or on the way the team is playing. CU is going to be very tough on Saturday.

I think most games we will be in it at halftime....and then we will wear out and have trouble keeping up in the 2nd half.....just not enough depth and too-many minutes by the starters to keep it close. I have no other answer....we hit FT's tonight and had 16 assts/13 turn-overs....but give up way to many easy baskets!

I'm not sure, but they were always accused of scheduling terribly and having a poor RPI.When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Nope. But it would be nice if someone accepted some responsibility for what shapes up as possible the worst season of Bradley basketball in my lifetime.

Didn't see any of the game since I was at my son's basketball game. But I only think it is fair for me to admit. This was one of the only games on our schedule that I thought was "we will win" game and "we have to beat them at home"
I am really surprised we didn't. I was also surprised they beat ISU. I have thought SIU would be the last place team in the Valley. Now I have to admit we could be that team. Hopefully things start to improve.

I hope my wife has something for me to do Saturday night. I'm not sure I can watch much more if this. I understand the situation, I understand there needs to be patience and whatnot. I am not criticizing Coach Ford at all. I just don't really feel the need to witness the carnage up close. I have never attended two consecutive games where the opportunities to stand up and cheer due to play on the court could be counted on one hand.

Why the secrecy? Tell us who should be fired.
