If you are reading this, then the changes are complete. We needed to switch to a new server to accomodate our expanding database and files, and make necessary changes to keep the site viable. Since we transferred our files to the new server about a week ago, and it took longer than anticipated to transfer the domain registration to the new server, it resulted in the disappearance of the recent posts, which are still on the old server. Thanks to everyone for your patience.

    Go BU!

Thanks for all the hard work on the site.

We are now fully switched over onto the new server. The change was necessary because of the high traffic this site gets, and because the old web host was slow in modernizing their services.
Unfortunately, all the posts since 12/27 do not show up, since we transferred the files that day, but it took almost a week for the domain switch to take place and for users to be directed here. So those posts are orphaned on the old site.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we'd probably all like to forget the last week anyway!

Interesting-- I have checked the old server site a couple times, and to my dismay, there are 12-15 users visiting that Bradleyfans site on the old server at any given time despite the BradleyFans.com domain pointing here to the new server.

Does anyone with more knowledge than I have know why some internet browsers would keep going back to the old site? Do some browsers seek out sites by IP address, instead of domain name?

In any event, after I am assured that everything has been transferred to the new server, including a couple extra domain names we aren't currently using, we'll cancel and shut down the other site completely. That should help keep anyone from finding it by mistake.

On qmy home "network" I just changed my DNS settirrngs to openDNS.com as one method of co?€ntent filtering (DNS translates names to IP addresses)
They said that it (dns filtering) may not take immediate effect as DNS info can be cached in both browsers and the computer's network setup. In addition, there are many routers and servers that cache DNS info for other Internet users.

It's not unusual, but I would expect those people to be pointing thisaway towards the new server very soon.

perhaps they are viewing a cache version with the most recent capture from the old site? Maybe trying to read the old posts that got erased?
