  • Indiana State announces they are participants in 2012 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic

    Indiana State has been selected to participate in the 2012 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic for the fourth annual holiday tournament to be held in late December, around the Christmas holiday, at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Competing in the 2012 tournament are NCAA Championship qualifying teams Arizona, San Diego State and Indiana State, Classic host Hawaii, along with Miami (Fla.), Ole Miss, San Francisco and Texas Tech.

    By the way, though it will not be announced for several months, I have heard Bradley is close to locking in to a holiday tournament for next November, 2012.

      Very well played by Indiana St. Non-con tourneys have value, but the 8-teamers on a neutral have the best value.

        Nice field! Those are the types of tourneys we need to participate in each year or so. The Chicago Invitational Tourney was good too.

            Anyone heading to Oahu should consider The North Shore. It is only a 50 minute drive and well worth it. I'm not talking about heading out there for one day but the whole time.

              Agree. The last time Bradley played in the Rainbow tournament, we rented a home on the North Shore for the week, and drove into Honolulu for the games. It's a beautiful area, and much easier to get around to the other parts of the island from there. Rental homes are abundant. We stayed right on the Banzai Pipeline beach.
