Another bad shooting game by Drake. Coach Davis has to be steaming, since that is such a big part of their game plan. He recruits good shooters, but they aren't doing the job.
Bryant was 1-8. Korver was 0-8, and 0-5 from 3-point.
In their 3 games in Alaska, Korver was 2-7, 1-7, and 0-8. Totals- 3-22, and 3-15 from 3 point.

Another poor stat- 12 assists and 18 turnovers.

I notice the attendance for the UNI game was only 6,108.
Wasn't this their "grand opening" of their new arena? It holds 7,000, and they had a big football game there yesterday. It is strange they couldn't do better than almost 1000 unsold tickets. Anyone know why?

Maybe they expected a down year? So far so good though.

I thought Indiana St was. But they showed a lot more heart this weekend with supposedly a lot less talent than Drake did!

Wisconsin-Milwaukee is really bad this year.
Funny how they did so well with players they "lured" from other D-I programs, then when they finally play with the players they recruit, it's a different story.

UW-M is 1-4, with a couple real cupcakes coming up (S. Dakota St., Tenn. Tech, C. Mich, and Oakland!

Very encouraging win for Evansville. They pummel a Buffalo team that beat Miami (FL) eariler this season.

Drake actually led their game vs Troy 75-66 with 3:24 remaining.
Troy then scored 14 points over the final 3:24 and Drake was scoreless.
The game log shows SIX turnovers, SIX fouls (three of which occurred while Drake was still leading), and only one shot attempt in that time span, a missed 3 pointer with 13 sec. left.
Very poor ball management down the stretch.
Korver & Bryant two of their best outside threats were 1-16 overall and 0-11 from 3-pt.
