December 21, 1981 Bradley played Cincinnati in a 7-overtime game at the Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse. Bradley lost 75-73, but it remains the longest game in NCAA history.
No shot clock, both teams holding the ball, Versace and Badger standing on the side of the raised floor, Mike Williams on the wrong side. Still miss the Fieldhouse.
What a memory... I drove my mom to that game and parked across campus near MacMillan Hall. I left after 4th OT To get car to pick her up.. get to car, listened to radio for remaining OT's.... aargh!
