I am sure the coaches will read this and consider our suggestions. - (just a joke people)

Here are a few that have been mentioned to me-

-Jake Eastman in the starting lineup- The coaches like Jake's contributions off the bench, but could he be more valuable as a starter?

-Anthony Thompson starting?- believe it or not with all the good big men in the MVC, nobody in the Valley has more blocks than AT, and he has done it as a reserve playing just 13 minutes per game. Since our interior defense has been weak at times, maybe a shot blocker like AT could help if he played more minutes against other teams' starters. Also, in short periods when AT has been on the floor with JP, the team has played well, and it's allowed JP to play the 4 which may be a better position for him.

-Jordan Prosser playing the 4 position- see above

-Walt playing the 2 guard spot- Walt is too quick for most 2-guards to stay with, and it might allow him more chances to make his moves to the basket with which he scores a high percentage of the time.

-Run more set plays to get the ball inside to Taylor Brown- TB seems to work awfully hard to get his shots, and yet 1 on 1 in the paint, TB can be very efficient. We do not seem to feed the ball to him enough recently.
I like the TB suggestion. That would give Ford a reason to run more set plays as many, including myself have thought they should do. Again though, only if it actually helps the team's shooting percentage go up. If running set plays, however results in more of the same, that is our players missing easy shots, it probably wouldn't matter.

I'd like to see us beat a SoCon team. What's our record against them the past few years?

I don't know, but Creighton put their 1st sub in 20 seconds into the game last night at Tulsa. Works for them...

!00% correct, said before if we don"t start making freethrows we will lose the close games, it happened again tonight.
The other problem is Taylor is not playing like the star that he is suppose to be, his line tonight is not acceptable for the type of player that he is and should be, he does not seem to be working hard enough to get good shots, he took only 7 shots tonight and a few of them were forced because once he gets the ball he does not pass it and try to get himself in better position to score.

Oh for the days of Daniel Ruffin. Geno's recruiting priority has to be a PG with the ability to shoot FT's.

Or a center or forward or anybody who can make a free throw. Can't remember a Bradley team missing so many free throws in the closing minutes of close games as this team.

but get this -- Bradley plays tremendous free throw defense!

as badly as we shoot FT's, our opponents' FT pct. is even worse.
Our FT shooting is 64.7% but our opponents shoot just 59.7%.
