BU is 5-5 overall, with a 4-1 home record.

How do you think BU is doing compared to how you thought they would be at this point?

I thought we'd be 5-5 right now. Our home record is how I thought we'd do.

I thought DSE wouldn't be as inconsistent - he's a little better at this time last season, but still struggling. I don't want to put the burden on his shoulders, but if the DSE we saw the last 10 games of last season was close to that at the start of this season, we might be 7-3.
And TB has had a few off nights. I guess I have high expectations for these guys - as I think they are still All-MVC team caliber players.
They still have time to get it together.

I really thought Walt would blossom this season, and he has. I have confidence in his perimeter shot.

I went with "They are right where I thought they would be at this point."

Though I agree with Coach Ford in that they could be better. We have lost 3 games that were winnable games due to poor shooting at the free throw line, weak inside defense, and other facets of their game that seem "fixable".

From a record point of view, the team is about where I expected them to be. Other aspects that I have seen to date make me vote that the team is worse than what I hoped for.

They are right where I thought, record-wise. Young teams with a lack of depth are going to struggle from time to time.

I have seen a lot to like, though, moving forward.

                Definitely agree.

I like the substitutions by Geno and going big from time to time.
And use of Time outs have been good.
Geno saw that Walt could be utilized best at the point, and while he hasn't mastered it, he is going to get better & more steady.
AT & Milos have played roles too, which is what I was hoping for. Would like to see MK play about 10 ppg, as long as his D is solid.

as smooth and silky as Walt is driving for layups I hope to see more of that as well as maybe running him off some screens
If we get the defenses worried more about Walt, then other shooters might open up

I think, in game adjustments, are key too. He talks to his assistants and then, together, you see them talk to the guys and implement the changes.
