I love Jake

Apologies to Missouri Brave- but while we are handing out accolades, how about Jake Eastman. Jake has had the 2 best games of his career, IMO, in the 2 games at George Washington and Drexel.
Jake suddenly seems to have much more confidence in his shot, and driving to the basket. Let's hope this boosts his confidence for the rest of this year, because we really need what Jake gave us in DC and Philly.

By the way, the Rivals link shows that Jake started the game at Drexel. That is an error. Jake came off the bench as he has done for all games this season, however, Jake started the second half in place of Shayok Shayok.
But could we see Jake in the starting lineup at some point?

As I stated on another post players do go into slumps, I thought if Jake could just make a couple of outside shots he would get his confidence back and start believing he can make all of them , hopefully he comes back home and continues to shoot as well as his last 2 games, no reason why as his shot looks good.

Agree completely. Walt may be our best player right now but Jake is our most valuable, a Trevor Trimpe type. Love him.

I'd really love Jake's game if he was 6' 7' like Trevor.

I think Jake gets the most out of his talent, and I don't know anyone who doesn't appreciate that. He's one of those effort kids who you wish was 3" taller, a half a step quicker, and had a little bit better shot.

Great job the last couple of games Jake! The great thing about Jake is even when he is struggling he is contributing something and still hustling. I'm glad his shot is finally showing through on the court, I was worried that he just might not be the in game shooter we thought he could be. It is good to see he can be a good shooter in game action, as we desperately need anybody who can shoot the 3 this year and next. If Milos could stop fouling on defense his shot seems to be pretty good this year when he is out there as well.

I agree. Jake is an example for the other players not to let things effect their game. He always plays hard, and finds a way to contribute. I also wish we could see Milos more. He has an extremely quick trigger on his shot, and is the best shooter we have. He should be able to get several shots per game.
