    Budd's 31 Helps Braves Top Iowa 96-88

    Sophomore guard Kelsey Budd made 5-of-6 three-point attempts and paced five Bradley players in double figures with a career-best 31 points to help the Braves top visiting Iowa 96-88 Saturday at Renaissance Coliseum.

      If I remember right, they were 6-4 coming in to the game. I don't recall who they played though...

      For those in attendance, it was a very exciting game with an amazing atmosphere. The fans there really got to see a great game.

        Agreed... was definitely a lot of fun tonight. Some great performances all around, but especially Budd and 00 Shronda Butts!

          Realtimerpi had Bradley at #125 and Iowa at #67 coming into the game.

              It was a great game! DUBrave is right, it was the best atmosphere I have seen at a women's game and I have seen alot of them. Even better than when we played Illinois. Budd was unconscious. I hesitate to say it because I am not sure, but as a team BU shot over 50% from behind the arc and it very well could be a BU record. Not sure, but it sure felt like they were getting close.

                Congratulations Lady Braves! It looks like this program is definitely on the upswing; I'm looking forward to seeing a Bradley Basketball team in the Big Dance this year!

                  They were 4 of 7 in the first half for 57.1% and they were 9 of 15 in the second half for 60%. Total that puts them at 13 of 22 or 59.1%
