In time, once he gets "his guys", I'm confident BU will be successful and exciting to watch.
They already are exciting to watch. And they are getting better each game, even if it doesn't always translate to wins and even if we look sloppy at times. We just have can't fall way behind at the beginning of each half. If we stop that and make some easy shots we should be okay.

I know we rush shots too often, and I don't know if that's the offensive play itself, or just players rushing shots when they don't need. But I also know, espcially from watching today's game that this system does lead to easy shots that we miss all too often. Just cleaning up the missed bunnies along with the free throws probably would have led to two more wins by now. Of course you can say that the wins and losses even out as we probably were lucky to win at George Washington and against Northeastern. But consistency will come in time.

      People will always complain.

I don't know of any real Bradley fans who would choose watching the BTN over their own team but maybe that's just the fans I know.
I'm still trying to figure out why a person would have to "switch over" in the first place. The Bradley game was streaming online and the Illinois game was on television, right?

DSE, on the other hand, needs to cut down on his turnovers; I believe he is trying to do too much to compensate for BU not having a true PG.
I thought DS was a true point guard......and he plays college basketball.

Since the games have started all you complain about is our offense and Geno's ability to coach it!! Give it a break the team needs to make and take good shots and free throws.. If they would just do that this team may only have 2 losses on the year it is not the offensive or the way the staff coaches it....
I believe the announcers even made a statement about us not running any set plays, just give the ball to someone and have them try to score. I'm not sure what qualifies them to think they're authorities on coaching either, but it's most definitely more than one person's opinion!

While we're at it.....I'm still wondering why a certain player is still in the starting lineup, but I'm no authority on coaching either, so I'll just trust that he is still the "best player in practice".

Agreed, which is kind of a statement in itself that a good set play is so noticeable!

I'm starting to believe what the pundits have said about his foot speed, quickness, and defense. Apparently, he's not ready. In Ford I trust!

D.S. is a true point guard, my assessment of him now is for a 5-11 player he is not quick enough , hopefully they can work with him like they did with J. Crouch on his footwork and agility because watching him in warmups he has a good looking shot, he is also bad defensively because he was never expected to play hard nose defense by his h.s. coach.
The last 3 games Walt has been outstanding so I see no need to discuss the point guard position as he has gotten better.

Since we're not there that's probably the best attitude to take. In Ford I trust!

That's a great point. I questioned Walt at PG early in the season but not any more. He's made great strides and I'm sure will continue to improve. Obviously, Geno knows more than us "hacks". He has a vision for the future and what he wants. In Ford I trust!

I was simply questioning the thought that we don't have a true point guard on this team. DS is a true point guard and he is (still) on this team.

Apparently he must be right there with a couple other players.....not ready to contribute at this point in time.

That's certainly a big part of the problem. Prosser has been really struggling to finish, but that's what happens when you ask a 6' 7' kid to play the 5.

But I think that is his true position....so he needs to finish. I would still like to see him get his shot quicker when he gets the ball instead of dribbling and by the time he shoots he's worn out. I have always liked the idea if he gets the ball in the post and the shot isn't there right away to pass back out and reset a little deeper and get the ball back. Typicvally when player gets rid of the ball his defender relaxes a little and gives him a chance to get deeper in the post....in any event it seems the longer he holds the ball the odds of Pross scoring diminish
