For the Valley to have credibility they need to come out of today with no more than 2 losses; I think it is possible.

Indiana State at Vanderbilt will take a miracle
Bradley at Drexel and Drake at Iowa are winnable, but tough games

The other 4 should be gimmes-
SIU and winless NIU- SIU should handle the hapless Huskies
Houston Baptist at Creighton- CU subs and walkons should be in for a lot of playing time
Kennesaw State at Missouri State- ditto

Tennessee Tech at Evansville- should be a win for UE, but it won't be quite as easy as some of the other games. TTU (RPI 260) has some athletes, but they are not a very good team.

Agreed with everything except SIU. SIU is almost as hapless as NIU, so that is not a gimme game by any means. Still, SIU is up 24-18 in the first half, so that's a good sign.

Also, TTech up 28-23 late in the first half at Evansville. Plenty of time to go there though.

ha, ha - the only shred of encouragement on the NIU boards is that one guy says at least they're beginning to play DEFENSE in allowing SIU only 62 points...
Little do they know that SIU hasn't been able to even hit 62 against any other D-I except RPI 999 Chicago State!

Evansville is not a good team either and if we don"t finish in front of them I will be very disappointed.

... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Looks like we now have four teams with NCAA Tournament worthy resumes, at least based on non-conference performance! The top half of this league is becoming scary good, though not good for us. We better "feast" on the lower half of the league at least for this year.

Sycamore fans thank you for all the kudos. We needed a signature win to keep pace. FYI - Coach Lansing and the Sycamores are now 21-0 when holding opponents to 63 points or less.

The top 4 are good but we stayed right with the Colonial favorite on their home floor so I would like to think that Bradley believes in themselves more now and that they will not lose at home to any Valley teams this season.

                            home

I hope we can hold our home court for the whole season but i do not think that is possible with how the top 4 mvc teams are playing...I don't think we are a last place team either!!

Colonial favorite? Who? Drexel? They were actually chosen as 6th best in the conference preseason poll, just ahead of Northeastern.
