Biggest non-conf. BU win since...

Trying to think of our last road win vs. a non-Valley team that you had a good feeling after it.
Not sure if the win in last year's B'Busters game would qualify - vs. an RPI team of almost 300.

Do we have to go back to the U of I game 2 years ago?
Not to say that this was anywhere near the excitement as that win.
But it's a big win in the new era.

You suggested UIUC a couple years ago - that was in Las Vegas. So I went with USC.

And then the season before (2-17-07), we won at VCU in BBuster who finished #44 in RPI

I agree. Though that VCU win the year before was impressive because VCU was a better team than UVA. UVA was important because it was post season against a BCS team.

That's a good one. Beating even a mediocre ACC team on their home court was an accomplishment since many pundits still think mid-majors are far "inferior" to even the worst of the BCS bunch!

I guess I would have to go with the win @ UVA since it was more recent.
Hopefully this game will be one we can look at in a few weeks and say it was a quality road win.

GW didn't look too bad - not great, but it took a good performance to pull it out.
IMO, we lost 1 we should have won (vs. Woff.) and won one most expected to lose.
I'll take 5-4 at this point. Not bad for a team picked last in the league!
