Good to see that ISU red is participating in the South Padre Invitational next year. Hopefully that will beef up their schedule a bit.
Also nice to see that Bradley got credit for a second road win as they beat Northeastern "on the road". Well, I guess nobody's perfect.
Unfortunately this was not good to see:
12/17—Drake @ Iowa (Big 10 Network)—Enjoy this game as this will probably be the last game in the home-and-home series between these two schools. Iowa is looking to end the series with the two MVC teams in the state (Northern Iowa) and schedule more of a neutral site venue with all four D-1 teams in Iowa. This is a disappointing development in a series many thought there were laws in place that required these teams to play each other every year.
Another typical BCS sore loser as the Valley has had their number in recent years. Now they can't stand the heat and want to end each series they had against the Valley Iowa teams! And yes, I thought there was a law requiring them to play against each other. I'm glad they want to play in a neutral site venue, but what exactly does that mean? First define "neutral site", and second, does this mean one game between a Valley team and an Iowa BCS team per year, or will it be a two game tournament? Either way there goes the home court advantage the Valley gets against these teams every other year!
