Big Game for Chris Roberts

Chris has had a lot of big games, but last night was likely his biggest..

in a close 99-92 win to keep his Fierza Regia (Royal Fire) team in 1st place (25-6),
Chris played 35 minutes, was 13-21 (incl 2-5 from 3pt) from the floor, and 6-8 from the FT line for
30 points, 5 rebs, 3 asst, 3 steals, and a block....what a great stat line!!!

regular season is winding down... and there are three teams in the league in a tight race for 1st place...
all three teams have 24 or more wins and the league playoffs are determined by a point system of wins and who you beat...
There's one oddity - that the last (14th) place team, the Volcanes de Toluca (The Volcanoes) are an amazing 0-32...
They are not only bad, but have had a hard time keeping enough players on the roster - even forfeiting a few games for showing up at schedules matched with fewer than the eight players required by the league..

Many of their games are as bad as 60-point blowouts, and only a handful of games have been within single digits...the closest being an 86-79 loss back in mid-October.
Since October 15, only ONE single game has been even within a 25 point margin of defeat! Must be discouraging...
