Some have jumped on the Gene Ford train (And I wish Gene nothing but the best. I understand he is a great guy), but others have found other means of transportation.
For whatever reason, the word "transportation" reminded me of the student section.
It appears that they overachieved for all of one game following the campus game.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
If you think I'm "Back in March" you really underestimate me and many others. There is LIFE outside Bradley Basketball. I would question your "Most people are looking forward" quote. Maybe the majority of this board feels that way, but I doubt the majority of major donors feel that way. Some are still some VERY upset about March 6th.

Al did recruit POB under Molinari, and was closer to him than JL was, but Jim deserves a lot of credit for convincing POB to come to Bradley. He wanted out of his commitment after Mo was fired.
Al was not hired by Jim, and it is rare that a holdover coach stays on with the a new coach for very long. Al was replaced by Chuck Buescher, and I think most Bradley fans appreciate the contributions of Coach Buescher. Without him, it's very possible Bradley never makes the NCAA tournament in 2006. So, IMO, it's hard to call the trade of Al B for Coach Buescher "a mistake", I think most BU fans would take that trade off again any time.
Yuo have to be joking that I would say having Chuck was a mistake, he was the only asst. Les listened to and let help coach, the mistake was letting Al go instead of one of the other asst"s that were not as good as Al .

Ahhhyou must have been that car I saw the other day with the "3-6-11 Never Forget" bumper sticker. I wondered what that meant.
Might have, could have, should have, time to move on and when the new staff puts together a winner everyone will be jumping on the bandwagon once again.
I think it is funny that we talk about the players we would have gotten had he stayed. Zack Andrews signed an NBA contract yesterday, Pat O'bryant was drafted in the first round, Cellus is a european stud in probably the best Euro league, Sammy the starting PG for Illinois, Chris Roberts NBDL guy.
Getting guys not a problem. Getting 3rd place or better in the MVC - big time struggle.
I liked Les, recruiting wasn't an issue, so it is stupid to keep saying wow what an awesome team we would have had. We had awesome teams, and got 4th - fun.
but Garland - at what point will people finally agree it was not the caliber of players - it was the untimely injuries in bunches...
1. Injuries.... (But not suppose to talk about that. PART of the game!)
2. Cheating.... (But not suppose to talk about that. NOT part of the game!)
Keep hearing "Not better than fourth place." VERY tired of the argument. Sweet sixteen while getting 4th place! Maybe the conference is not that bad..... at least TOP 3!

Petey..how did the program trend since the Sweet 16? I will hang up and await your answer.
they don't "have to" - some will always deny the obvious
Ok. Gotcha. I agree. Some do deny the obvious which makes no sense.
That's why they keep score in games and keep won/loss records. That way people can always go back and see the obvious facts. It's always so cut and dry then. Eliminates all what if scenarios or hypothesis.
