If you think I'm "Back in March" you really underestimate me and many others. There is LIFE outside Bradley Basketball. I would question your "Most people are looking forward" quote. Maybe the majority of this board feels that way, but I doubt the majority of major donors feel that way. Some are still some VERY upset about March 6th.

Some have jumped on the Gene Ford train (And I wish Gene nothing but the best. I understand he is a great guy), but others have found other means of transportation.

perhaps not, but since I just saw someone whining about Granger, and Joah Tucker being lost...

..just make a note & get back to me in 10-11 years and at least I'll be able to tell you if the whining about JL players lost lasted as long as the whining about Mo's players has gone on incessantly.... ..I doubt that it will....

Why bring up March 6th in this thread? It has nothing to do with thread title...by the way I know DC brought it up first....

you can certainly question my quote...that's your prerogative...the fact is it is time to move....I wouldn't have had a problem if they kept JL another year but I understand why they didn't.....and I get the LIFE outside of Bradley basketball
I've supported the university since Albeck was hired but Bradley is very low on my priorities in life.....

I'm SO over the whining. But hey... I'm just glad WM isn't on the Hilltop.

Losing Granger and Tucker was a big deal, Granger was the best player BU had since Hersey and J.j.Anderson, Tucker was darn good himself, Les never had anyone as good as either one of those players, P.O"Bryant was a first round draft choice but he was not as good as either one of those players, he might have been had he stayed , also Al B. was the main reason Pat came here and then Al was pretty much let go which to me was also a mistake.
I wanted Les to win championships as much as anyone because he was an all time BU great but it just didn"t work out as he tryed to do too much on his own, time to move on.

Al did recruit POB under Molinari, and was closer to him than JL was, but Jim deserves a lot of credit for convincing POB to come to Bradley. He wanted out of his commitment after Mo was fired.
Al was not hired by Jim, and it is rare that a holdover coach stays on with the a new coach for very long. Al was replaced by Chuck Buescher, and I think most Bradley fans appreciate the contributions of Coach Buescher. Without him, it's very possible Bradley never makes the NCAA tournament in 2006. So, IMO, it's hard to call the trade of Al B for Coach Buescher "a mistake", I think most BU fans would take that trade off again any time.

Except for the Life Contract WM got at UIUC (which rumour has it - that sealed the deal of keeping Dana Altman from wanting to take the job).
