Lakers swap and get Chris Paul....original report said Lakers had to give up Bynum & Odom..now word is it may be Gasol & Odom -
ESPN is reporting the trade is Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom for Chris Paul-
I don't see how this helps the Lakers. It costs them too much, and Chris Paul will take shots and possessions away from Kobe. I guess we'll see.Comment

When I heard originally that the Laker landed Paul for Odom & Bynum - I though t it was a great deal...
If it truly is Paul for Gasol & Odom, then yes...the Lakers are giving too much away and who's gonna play down low? Bynum & Ratliff? Or maybe call up Zach Andrews?Comment

Looks like the Lakers may get Okafor too in that deal. Anyways, doesn't this still leave the door open for the Lakers to trade Bynum/picks to Orlando for Dwight Howard and a player with a bad contract?Comment
