Sam Maniscalco is in the TOP 20 in six different categories - scoring average, FG%, FT%, 3pt made, 3pt%, assists - and he's in the top 10 in a few of those..
No other player in the Big Ten is in the top 20 of more offensive categories..pretty impressive
I don't like that the media still doesn't consider him to be up to big 10 standards whenever they talk about him in game.
They's say things like he isn't quick enough for the big 10, but a great fill in for his leadership and experience. Hello....he is a major reason why Illinois is undefeated right now. If it weren't for sammy, they would have an L in the column next to ISU and probably Maryland.
