Not very well unfortunately. Beyond Prosser (even though he had a shaky game last night), Brown and Sims-Edwards, there is not a lot of shooting consistency and a LOT of silly turnovers, though other players do show flashes of brilliance from time to time. Wins are going to be hard to come by this year as we are 3-4. A home win against Northeastern this week will help though.
You don't want to hear my analysis. Hope Andrew continues to do well in Australia.
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
This is pretty much the worst Bradley team in roughly 10-15 years. Taylor is the only player that can come close to consistently making a shot outside 5 feet. Defense sucks, Free Throws are comical, new recruits not doing anything, just a mess overall.
The team is struggling, but playing very hard. The coaching staff is having to deal with a lack of talent and depth.
I think you can also see the tremendous challenge facing everyone. You have a lack of quality skill-sets. We have some great athletes, but they perhaps lack the fundamentals to compete every night.
I do like the way the coaches and players interact. I like the way Jordan has grown this season.
TB is playing well too after sitting for an entire season.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
